What we Fund
Thank you for your dedication to the health of Armenians. A goal of AHABA is to provide strategic support for projects that result in measurable and sustainable contributions to a robust healthcare system in Armenia. We hope we can support your efforts toward our shared goal.
Prior to submitting a grant application, we recommend that you read these AHABA Eligibility Criteria to increase the chance of submitting a successful grant application.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Armenian Healthcare Association of the Bay Area (AHABA) is a registered non-profit organization (designated IRS 501(c)(3) status in the U.S.).
- Priority is given to grant applications that apply substantially all of its funding in Armenia to develop healthcare capacity.
- Organizations must have established at least one year of program outcomes.
- Project proposals submitted with a robust sustainability plan
- Project proposals submitted with specific measurable goals and a robust success assessment plan with metrics
- One year and multi-year grant requests are eligible for consideration.
- Prior AHABA grant recipients are eligible to reapply.
- Typical AHABA grant amounts range from $2,000 – $5,000. Exceptions may be made for larger grants if extensive program planning is included in the application.
- Operational overhead expenses
- Non-registered entities/organizations
- Political action groups
- Project proposals for a product or service that will be offered for commercial sale
