What we Fund
Thank you for your dedication to the health of Armenians. A goal of AHABA is to provide strategic support toward a robust healthcare system in Armenia. We hope we can support you towards our shared goal.
Prior to submitting a grant application, we recommend reading the Eligibility Criteria to better understand whether your organization is eligible for an AHABA grant and some of our non-required preferences.

What we Fund
- The Armenian Healthcare Association of the Bay Area (AHABA) is a registered non-profit organization (designated IRS 501(c)(3) status in the U.S.). Preference for the grant is given to organizations that will use or apply substantially all of its grant funding in Armenia to develop healthcare capacity
- Organizations that have established at least one year of program outcomes.
- Calendar year, as well as multi-year grant requests, are eligible for consideration.
- Prior AHABA grant recipients are eligible to reapply.
- Typical grant amounts range from $2,000 – $5,000. Exceptions can be made for larger grants if extensive program planning has taken place.
What we do not Fund
- Operational overhead expenses
- Non-registered entities/organizations
- Political action groups
- Proposals submitted without a sustainability plan
- Grant requests used to produce something for commercial sale
